This is simply THE BEST Indian take out we have eaten and it never, ever disappoints. We moved to Grassington in Nov 19 and every time we order we are… read more blown away by the flavours, the ‘freshness’ and the quality of the produce used. This place is a bit of a mixed bag. If I was scoring on food alone it’d be 5 stars. However, I have to take into account the coronavirus guidelines… read more which are NOT being followed at all here.
Food
Overall was very nice. We had chicken tikka and tandoori to start both of which was very nice and well cooked. My other half had a jalfrezi and said it was really good. I had a dopiaza but it wasn’t very spicy, it needed more heat.
Coronavirus
There is no social distancing at the restaurant as it’s tiny. The staff did not wear masks. Our server was coughing and I didn’t see him cover his face.

This was my first order from Rozi’s and was made during the Coronavirus lockdown so was a take away. The food was cooked to perfection, from the first bite of… read more a deliciously crisp and fresh poppadom. We ordered and received the best value Biryani on Earth, magnificent Dansak and Lemon rice, a superb set of starters and equally great side dishes. Not one item disappointed. We chose all vegetarian options but have no doubt that the meat dishes will be equally as good. This was real expertly done craft cuisine. The service was friendly, very polite both on the phone and at the takeaway and the place was clean, hygienic and well set up for the times. This is highly recommended and stands alongside the best Asian food I have ever tasted, and I have tasted a lot.

wasn’t expecting to find an Indian restaurant in a traditional Dales village. Looks like an uninspiring takeaway from the outside but has a tiny restaurant upstairs. They were doing a roaring takeaway trade when I turned up (two orders of £100 plus while I was waiting) with seemingly one guy doing takeaways and waiting tables. Food was lovely and service was great considering he seemed to be doing it all on his own. No licence but you can take your own, and cash only.

Food was ok – fairly typical Indian takeaway. But had to wait at pub opposite, long enough for two rounds of drinks! They also only accept cash… in 2020… for some curious reason…🤔 Don’t forget to ask for a till receipt 😉
